Promotions
and Relegations
Clubs
are reminded that in divisions that have been reduced due to the
withdrawal of a team, the numbers of teams that will be
relegated will not be reduced, and normal relegations numbers
will still apply

IOG
Courses for Groundsmen
The Institute of Groundmanship's programme of
courses for 2010 includes the following:
Foundation (Level
1), Part B
-
Autumn Renovation and Winter Maintenance - at
Hursley Park CC on Tuesday 14 September. Course fee £75
for IOG members, £105 for non-members.
Intermediate (Level 2) –
Introduction to the Theory - at Hursley Park CC on
Tuesday 11 May. Candidates should have already attended
Level 1 Parts A and B courses. Course fee £105 for IOG members,
£210 for non-members.
Advanced (Level 3) – Theory of Turf Culture – at Hursley Park CC on Tuesday 18 May.
Candidates should have already attended an Intermediate (Level
2) course. Course fee £210.
The Hampshire Cricket Board will assist
with course fees for members of clubs affiliated to the
Board. In the case of the Foundation course, HCB will refund £75
for each part, and suggest that those attending the course
should join IOG for an annual subscription of £47. There
are benefits in addition to the considerable saving in course
fees, not least in membership of the Winchester Branch of IOG,
which is in effect the Hampshire Cricket Board Groundsmen’s
Association.
HCB will refund £105 for both the Intermediate
and Advanced courses.
